About Us:
We are a husband and wife team that met on Grateful Dead tour in the Spring of 1992. He was selling tie dyes and she was selling handmade beaded jewelry. By summer tour 92, we both tie dyeing and beading. This is also the summer we also discovered our love for Phish.
After the Grateful Dead years, we settled high in the mountains outside of Asheville, N.C., buying our web address, PsychedelicCircus.com, in 1996. We continued touring and vending with Phish up to the hiatus.
In 2000 we opened our first online store on eBay and our second one on Etsy in 2009. We still hit the road vending every summer (and fall) with Dead & Company and/or Phish. Look for us on Shakedown whenever you're at a show. It's the only place you'll find our jewelry and our specialty tie dye items.
How we work:
All our items are hand dyed to order. The pictures are examples of our work, please check out our feedback and review pages below to see what others are saying about our quality.
We dye items in the order that payment is received, basically, first come first serve. Orders usually ship between 7-10 business days, but we'll always let you know how long we're running when you order.
We'll work with you on colors and designs if you're interested in custom work.
